1. Introduction
Welcome to Ravium. Your privacy is critically important to us. We designed our app to enhance your nightlife experience without becoming a surveillance tool. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
2. Data We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and age verification (to ensure compliance with 18+ events and local regulations).
- Location Data & Bluetooth Mesh: We collect GPS and Bluetooth (BLE) data to power the "Crew Tracker", "Offline Mesh", and "Rave Aura" features. When offline, your device may securely pass encrypted packets for other users in the mesh, but you cannot read their contents, nor can they read yours.
- Financial Information: For the Cashless Wallet, payment processing is handled entirely by our secure partner (Stripe Connect). We do not store your full credit card numbers or bank details on our servers.
- Behavioral Data: We track your movement between stages, crowd density zones, and interactions with the Hype Meter to calculate your dynamic "Rave Aura".
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide the Ravium experience. Location data is aggregated and anonymized to create crowd heatmaps for organizers and calculate your "Rave Aura". Your Rave Aura is calculated automatically using these metrics, but we NEVER sell your personal or location data to advertisers or third-party data brokers.
4. Data Sharing & Organizers
We share aggregate, anonymized attendance data (such as crowd flow and stage popularity) with event organizers via the Ravium Business app to help them manage logistics and safety. Organizers cannot see individual raver identities or track specific users on their heatmaps unless you explicitly use your app to scan into a VIP area or make a cashless purchase with them.
We only share your live location with the specific friends you have added to your "Crew". You can disable location sharing or enter "Ghost Mode" at any time with a single tap in the app's privacy settings.
5. Data Retention & Decay
Your Rave Aura and gamification levels are temporary. If you do not attend events or interact with the platform, your level naturally decays over time. We do not keep historical logs of your step-by-step movements after an event has concluded; movement data is ephemeral and used only for live metrics.
